Hello, bloggers today I finished a times table chart. I found it challenging the further I got down. the hardes was 11x11 becouse it was 121 and it took me abit to figgure it out. Also try to challenge your self cover the ansewr an try to find it. The easiest one was the ten times tables becouse you just add a zero to the number your multiplying. Here is my slide. Let me know if I go one wrong.

  2. Hi Toby good effort. Did you notice something funny with your 11 X tables. Of course with the single digits you can just repeat them e.g 11X6 = 66 (easy) BUT here is a trick for BIGGER numbers 11X12 = 132 (so what, let me explain) The first 1 digit of the twelve goes in the front. The last 2 digit goes at the end. AND I add the digits 1&2 of the 12 which equals three and that goes in the middle (Hence 132)

Lets try 11X15 = 1 in the front, 5 at the back add 1&5 together = 6 this goes in the middle, answer 165.

    Give it a go.
