Today we learned about kintsugi. It is a word that means fixing something in a beautiful way. It also means to repair things that are not physical objects. It is a Japanese word and it is a useful thing to use. We had to make a list of things that we could use here is my list.
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Kia Ora Toby,
ReplyDeleteYou've provided some good information about of the Japanese tradition of kintsugi, the artful mending of broken pots and vases using a gold-inflected lacquer. Ka pai! Do you think this art of repair has something important to say about mending relationships between people?
Hey Toby, It's me Ema-Leigh.
ReplyDeleteYou've done your writing very good to understand so other readers can understand what you are saying and not be confused.
Where did you get the information from?
I can use this in my writing or use it in real life like maybe around you or others.
I think you need to press preview before you pubblish so you can look at the doc is like and how others might see it because from mine it is very small. You could put a screenshot of it on there instead of adding that.
Fa Toby have a good day/night.(you have done good by the way.)
