Horrible History!!!

 Hello,bloggers Today for reading for growth mindset I read an artical about the destruction of public statutes because they have had nothing to do with the history of NZ or the bad stuff about NZ. For example a George Eden was taken down because he had never even been to NZ. Most of the other statues had had their noses smashed off and some had been decapitated. There was the statue of King George V who had been decapitated V times in a row. :D

Parihaka

 Hello,blogger this week we learnt about parihaka and it was crazy because we had learnt about how the British tried to take the land of the parihakas witch were peaceful people. Then we had to make something about it and I made a kahoot but I don't know how to make it so anyone can see it so yeah. I made it with 10 Questions so it was long but not super long and it has all the things we were learning about in parihaka.

 Here are some facts on Parihaka. So they set children instead of warriors because Parihakas don't attack because they are peaceful people with no defenses:D

                                                                                   

We got to use a mars rover!!!!

 Sotra, Hello bloggers today we used a sphero and when I first saw it I diddent know what it as and then I used it and loved it. The first thing we did was drew some obsitcals the cut it out then we drove the sphero. I really enjoy it but the thing is  we made ours a girl and at the start we lost it. It was fun. A Shero is a ball device that you controle by a app!!!

Hello,bloggers today we learnt about constellations and then we had to draw some constellations and then we draw stars on it and then it was done. I liked it because we go to chose the  constellations from a website witch was cool because I draw mars and then a lot of stars.

gold rush

Hello,bloggers Today is the last day of the gold rush work we have to make a blog about three things we know about the Gold Rush. 

The first thing I learnt was that many people left their jobs to try to find gold.

The second thing I learnt was that when the first person who found gold show it and then the guy said hide it out it away.

The last thing I learnt was when miners look for gold they pan for gold in a river then move up the river to find a hill of gold. 

 

Here is a thing you can think about is that if you were in the time of the gold rush would you drop everything and look for gold.

Morse code!!!!!

Hello,bloggers Today we did Morse code. It was fun because it was pretty easy and not as hard as you think. The way that I did morse code was make a flag then me and joshua went outside and lifted up the flags that we made and then if itwas fast it was a . but if it was fast it was a -. My favorate part was makeing the flags because I just wrote "FLAG" on mine so you just know its a flag. Imagine if a contrary flag was white fabric and said "FLAG"

Hello bloggers, We are learning about the gold rush in hur 1 witch was a time where most of people got rich.

1. What does the scenery look like in Hunter’s Gold. Use descriptive words. 

The scenery in Hunter's Gold is old fashion like thing's in the 60's witch compared to this is really old.

2. How do you think the little boy felt when his father didn’t return? Why do you think he felt that way? I tink he felt sad because he doesn't know what happened to his dad
   
   

3. Think of time when you haven’t seen someone for a long time. Who was it? Why couldn’t you see them? How were you feeling while you waited to see them again? My Nana,Lock down, weird because we cauldent go over to see her.
